William “Billy” Raymond Wilson, age 72, from Elkton, MD, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2022. He was born on June 8, 1950, in West Grove, PA. He was the son of the late Clyde and Tressie (Keys) Wilson.
Billy worked for W.L Gore and National Vulcanized Fiber prior to his retirement. He was an admirer of sport cars, especially Camaros. Billy was an avid sports fan, especially of the Ravens and the Orioles. He had a great sense of humor and was the family jokester. His family was very important to him. Billy was also known for being very strong willed. He had a lot of friends at work and in life and people just gravitated towards him because of his wonderful personality and humor.
Billy is survived by his son, Daniel Wilson; grandchildren: Nathan, Trevor and Finnley; great grandchild, Ryan; brother, Stephen Wilson (Marilyn), John Wilson (Patti) and sister, Karen Cooke (Steve); and his longtime companion of 25 years, Debbie Potter.
In addition to his parents, Billy is preceded in death by his brother, Clyde Donald Wilson.
