HAD A NICE FRIENDSHIP WITH HIM IN KOREA. WE SERVED WITH THE 5TH REGIMENTAL COMBAT TEAM WHERE I WAS A DENTIST. WE EXCHANGED PICTURES ABOUT 6 YEARS AGO TALKED ON THEPHONE AND WERE HOPEFUL ABOUT GETTING TOGETHER. UNFORTUNATELY IT NEVER HAPPENED.
HAVING LOST HIS PHONE # WENT HERE TO FIND IT BUT GOT HIS OBITUARY INSTEAD. ALSO WENT ON 7 DAY LEAVE TO JAPAN TOGETHER.
ASSUME HIS AGED MOTHER HAS PASSED ON ALSO. DID NOT STAY IN THE RESERVES BUT MARCH IN THE PARADE CARRYIING THE KOREA BANNER EVERY YEAR.

I want to add my voice to the others here. Jake was a lifelong friend and I have had the honor of serving as his POA and executor. I have learned so much about him in these months of care and management of his affairs. One things comes through...he really did care for many people and had a small network of very important and close friends. He lived modestly and gave generously to charity, often in memory of his parents, Bill and Bessie Graham. I hope he now is entirely liberated from illness, peaceful and eternally united with those he loves. Thanks to Foards for their great support and professional services and to all those who have been loyal friends to William Jacob Graham, better known to local Rising Sun folks as "Jake."

I always cherish the annual Christmas celebrations with Jake and his dear parents , Bill and Bessie. He had a faithful circle of friends who loved him deeply , and he was intent on leaving the world better than he found it. I'm truly grateful for having known this remarkable gentleman.

What a great guy! Always remember Jake's upbeat personality & friendship. I needed a job in 1961, went to the Budd Co. in Newark, De. and there was Jake, the E.R. Manager. He put me to work that very day. Jake had to turn out to be the great guy he was because he was raised by a lovely Mother(Bessie) & Father(William). I feel so fortunate to have known Jake and his Mother & Father. He shall be missed. My deepest sympathy, Ernest
