William “Billy” Harold Cockerham of Middletown, DE, age 74, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021. Billy was born on March 6, 1947 in Galax, VA to the late Coy Harold Cockerham and Florence Cockerham.
Billy served in Vietnam in the U.S. Army. He then worked as a maintenance manager for 48 years at Pathmark before then retiring. Billy raised pigeons in his spare time. He absolutely loved his 53 two toned turquoise and cream Ford Victoria. Billy was also a gun enthusiast and made his own ammo.
Billy is survived by his daughter, Michelle Veasey; daughter, Veronica Lyn Cockerham; granddaughter, Jacklyn Chadwick. In addition to his parents, Billy is preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Cockerham; and grandson, Vincent Vickers.
A graveside service for Billy will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Ebenezer Methodist Cemetery, 525 Polly Drummond Hill Road, Newark, DE.
