William Fred Harvey, 71, of Chesapeake City, MD passed away late in the evening of November 21, 2024. He was born on January 4, 1953, in Havre De Grace, MD, to the late John Louis Harvey Sr. and Ruby Marie (Greer) Harvey.
Bill will forever be remembered as being the life of the party and a true jokester, doing anything he could to ensure other people were laughing and smiling – telling jokes and using props and sarcasm was his specialty. His family will always remember his love for apple pie moonshine. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, and crabbing. He had a love for classic cars, and would often be found outdoors tinkering with them and other random stuff in his garage. He spent most of his working life at H&B Plumbing and Heating as an HVAC mechanic during the day, while also working a second job as a night watchmen at Northview Stallion Station for foaling mares at night.
Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years: Dena Harvey; his daughters: Tahnya Adams (Donnie) and Jessica Harvey (Brandon Duker); his grandchildren: Trevor Adams, DJ Adams, and Ambrielle Duker; his great-grandchild: Adrian; as well as his siblings: Joan Bones, Jack Harvey, Judy Turner, and Ruby Perry; as well as a host of nieces and nephews that he cherished. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his siblings, Gary Harvey and Mary Ramsey.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
