What a shock. We dropped our GSDs off today and learned of Bill's passing. What a nice man. We have one of his GSD babies, Libby. She has been a God send and has been a ray of silly sunshine in our lives. Our sincere condolences to the family.

We just learned of Bill's passing - he was a great friend, and took outstanding care of our various dogs over the years..as did many of the family. We are so grateful he did not suffer too long. NOW he is in heaven - healthy and well and so happy being Guardian Angel for you all. Bill and I had countless Post Office conversations over the years...about family, health and politics...and life. Bill Simmons was a good man, and loved his family so much. We send blessings and prayers to you all - this was such a surprise. xxoo Chan, Will, Seth and Sara Jane and their families.

I am thankful that my son and I got to visit Bill recently with Sam. First time we had been together in years and Bill showed a strong spirit and good sense of humor. We talked about dogs (of course), cars and life events in general. Bill and I had worked together at Chrysler for years and our sons (Sam & Jon) were like brothers. Bill, we are going to miss you brother. I wish peace and comfort to your family.

We both worked at Chrysler's Newark Assembly in Newark, Delaware. I trained his son at Chrysler in the Team Building as well as him. A wonderful family.
