William C Martino, age 90, beloved husband of Lois Martino, passed
away July 16 at Ware Presbyterian Village in Oxford, PA.
Bill was born June 3, 1924 in Philadelphia,PA and spent his growing up
years in New Jersey. Bill served in the US Air Force during World War
II as an engineer on a B-17, flying 38 missions. The majority of his
career was with Sun Oil Company, as an area manager for five states
and he also enjoyed camping and Scouting. Bill was an animal lover
and had many talents with woodworking. His easy going manner and
infectious sense of humor endeared him to all.
Bill is survived by his wife Lois, having spent together 67 very happy
years together. They have one son Jeffrey William and one grandson
Samuel William.
A memorial service will be held August 9, 2014 at 1 PM at Lower
Brandywine Presbyterian Church, 101 Old Kennett Rd., Wilmington DE
19807.
