Wayne David Duffield, 65, of Elkton, MD, passed away suddenly Thursday, January 15, 2015. Born May 22, 1949 in Bridgeton, NJ, Wayne was the son of George R. and the late E. June (Harris) Duffield.
Wayne was employed at the Bayside Community Network in Elkton, MD. A diehard and true Phillies fan, he rooted and supported his team through the good years and the bad.
He is survived by his father, George R. Duffield, of Carney’s Point, NJ; brother, Jeff Duffield and his wife, Sue, of Hendersonville, TN; sister, Susan Kuff, and her husband, Kevin, of Bridgeton, NJ; uncle, Walter Harris, of Bridgeton, NJ; nephews, David Duffield and Kevin Kuff, Jr.; and nieces, Annie Duffield, Aleasha Kuff, and Jordan Rosa.
Services will be held at 2PM on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at R.T. Foard & Jones, Inc., 122 W. Main St., Newark, DE 19711. Friends and family may visit one prior beginning at 1PM. Burial will follow at Gilpin Manor in Elkton, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to “Bayside Community Network” and sent in care of the funeral home.
