Warren M. Hutton, 80, of Elkton, MD, passed away peacefully at home March 27, 2012 surrounded by his family.
Born in Philadelphia, PA on June 5, 1931, Warren was the son of the late George and Anna Logan Hutton. He graduated from Haverford High School and worked as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service at the Sharon Hill Post Office until his retirement in September 1989. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force from 1950-54 and served in the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Barbra E. Hutton; three sons, Wayne C. Hutton of Holmes, PA, Leslie D. Hutton and his wife JoAnn of Cambridge, MD, and Geoffrey A Hutton and his wife Barbara of Springfield, PA; a daughter, Laurie A. Introcaso and husband Michael of Elkton, MD; 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He also leaves behind his sister Ivarene (Ivy) Ballinger and her husband Jack of Marco Island, FL. He was preceded in death by his son Alan, his brother Gordon and his sister in law Claire Hutton.
A service honoring his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday March 30, 2012 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 318 George Street, Chesapeake City, MD 21915. Friends and family may call beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be private. At the request of the family, please omit flowers, however memorial donations may be made to Northern Chesapeake Hospice Foundation c/o the funeral home.
