Wanda Willette Klatte, age 81, of Colora, MD passed away on Friday, July 28, 2023. She was born on February 20, 1942 in Crossville, TN to the late Benton Hedgecoth and Gladys (Briston) Hedgecoth. Wanda was the devoted wife of the late John Klatte who passed away in 2022.
Wanda took great pride in taking care of her home and family. She was a member of the Red Hat and Colora Civic Association. Wanda attended worship services at Good Shepard, Church of Nazaran, and Janes United Methodist Church.
Wanda is survived by her son, Benton Klatte; sister, Linda Berryman; nephew, Jeff Foster; niece, Kristy Fields; and her beloved cat, George.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to “Cecil County Animal Services” and send in care of R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.O. Box 248, Rising Sun, MD 21911.

Hello, I don’t know who might read this. But I wanted you to know that my husband (Gary) and I adopted your sweet boy, George. He came to lice with us on Sept. 25 2023. He has two 16 month old brother and sister cats, and has lots of places to snuggle, jump, play fetch - and room to play. He loves going under the bed covers. We’re at the vet right now making sure he’s got all the health care he needs for now (if any besides special food) and he won’t ever want for anything.
