Walter Steve Sexton, Jr. age 79 of Elkton, MD passed away on July 19, 2017. He was born on March 10, 1938 in West Bradford, PA to the late Walter Steve Sexton, Sr. and Jincy Emma (Vaught) Sexton.

Walter worked for Chrysler as a repairman for 32 ½ years. He was a union member of UAW and enjoyed working on cars in his spare time. Walter loved to go hunting and fishing, but he was happiest with his family. He cherished the time spent with them and especially his grandchildren. He would tell jokes to anyone who would listen and always tried to make his kids laugh.

Walter is survived by his wife of 55 years, Betty Sexton; sons: Steven Sexton and Richard Sexton; daughter, Dawn Sexton; five grandchildren: Heather Coudon, Thomas Sexton, Mia Sexton, Ashley Sexton, and Josh Sexton; five great grandchildren; and brother, Wilmer Sexton.

A celebration of Walter’s life will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 11:00 am at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 East Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921. A visitation will be held one hour prior beginning at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to “Bayside Community Network, Inc.” and sent in care of the funeral home.
