

Walter “Danny” Johnson, Jr., 42, of Elkton, MD passed away Saturday, January 23, 2016.
Born June 5, 1973 in Elkton, MD, Danny was the son of Walter D. Johnson, Sr. and the late Teresa Lynn (Charsha) Johnson. He loved his job working as a heavy machinery operator and everyone knew him as “Dozzer Dan.” Danny enjoyed boating, riding around in his Corvette or on his Harley Davidson motorcycle, and grilling at his tiki bar. He especially enjoyed relaxing on the water, eating crabs, singing and dancing. Danny lived his life to its fullest and made having fun his priority. He cherished the time he spent with his wonderful family and friends.
Danny is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, happily together for 28 years, Cindy Johnson; three daughters, Kiersten Staats and her husband, Ian, Leah and Danie Johnson; fathers, Walter D. Johnson, Sr. and his companion, Dianna Nunn; and countless friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Teresa Johnson; paternal grandparents, Corbin and Modina Johnson; and maternal grandparents, Laurence Charsha and Eleanor Baker.
A celebration of Danny’s life will be held at 3pm Friday, January 29, 2016 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 E. Main St., Elkton, MD 21921, where family and friends may visit beginning at 2pm.
