Hello Fowler Family. What an honor it was to know your mom and how special she was. My mom and her were good friends and my mom loved her. Hope they have caught up with one another in heaven. Your mom brought music to our St Johns Community and we will never forget her. I was her in church a few years ago and she sang to us and what a beautiful site she was. Like an angel. God Bless to all of you. Thanks for sharing your mom with all of us in St Johns.

Hi to Bunny's Huge Family! How honored I am to have had your Mom as my friend! She is with your Dad and that is a precious thought! I was close to your Mom as a good friend but then your Dad was Special in another way. I guess it all started with a name like Bruce---LOL My Dad and Son with the same name, we had so much fun with that. The last time she visited St.Johns, she sang at Church and how wonderful she sounded and I have one of CD's to listen to her until we see each other again. Just think, she is so lucky to be in Heaven and we are here freezing our butts off. Your Dad and Mom will always be remembered both here in St.Johns and out East in so many many ways! I always remember you kids growing up and I know that you know that your Mom is the BEST! God Bless you all and you are in my prayers! Thank you for sharing your Mom with everyone! Kathy Lanterman

Dear Pamela, Greg and family - we can only say we deeply feel for you having had to go through this a few years ago. Mom lived with us as well so it makes it all the more difficult. As you were there for us, we're here for you and please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and yours. Bunny was a sweet lady and she produced a dear friend and I'm sure she's singing in the choir up there with my Mom!

A Mixed Blessing left a message on January 3, 2015:
" Bunny" We will miss you so much; you were the matriarch of A Mixed Blessing, and we loved and respected your vast knowledge of music and lyrics. How many times did you rewrite notes so that we could sing them comfortably? And when songs we liked only had a verse or two, you would step up and write another verse so we didn't sound so chopped off. You wrote out a Southern Gospel version of The Star Spangled Banner; that was totally awesome! We loved our Saturday evenings of rehearsal and FOOD!! You would bring those wonderful deviled eggs, and we could hardly wait to finish rehearsal so we could enjoy all the goodies in the kitchen. When you sat in the living room, one of the cats would always find your welcoming lap, even though you then had cat hair on your clothes; you never seemed to mind a cat loving on you. In our rehearsals, if Eddie was acting up and not singing his notes correctly (and that was a big problem since he sang lead!), Carol and I made you be the 'bad guy' and correct Eddie! You just chuckled and told him what he needed to do. We knew he'd never yell at you!!! So, Bunny, until we meet again up yonder, keep those piano keys warm with your loving touch; A Mixed Blessing will be together again some day, and until then - we'll think of that warm, sultry voice of yours, and we'll feel like lighting a cigarette and putting a couple of dollars in the tip jar on your piano!! We love you and miss you, with your little bunny drawn on each note or card. We'll treasure those little bunnies, too!!

Mrs. Fowler was a very special woman who always displayed christian integrity and true kindness. As a young girl, I would be in her loving and peaceful home, where everything always was lovely and nurturing. My friend Pam was so lucky to have been blessed to have such an exceptional woman be her Mom. RIP Bunny Fowler.
Dixie Wilson left a message on January 3, 2015:
I will always remember "Bunny" and the love she had for music, her family and a Christian life. She was an awesome lady with so much love for those she knew. I can still hear her voice as she sang so many of her favorite songs. She lived life to the fullest and, as the many pictures shared, loved her family kept active until she was called Home. Rest in peace dear Bunny. I will never forget you.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
