Thomas “Tommy” Lee Williams, age 64, of Conowingo, MD passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2013. He was born on September 20, 1948 in Havre de Grace, MD to the late James C. and Helen L. (Dubree) Williams. He worked for Laborers Union International of North America Local #710 and spent most of his working life with the Susquehanna Electric Company Conowingo Hydro Station. Tommy was an avid fisherman, hunter and gardener. He loved his family dearly.
He is survived by his brother, Jeffery A. Williams and wife LuAnn of Rising Sun; sister, Peggy M. Richardson of Conowingo, MD; five nephews, Ronald L. Williams, Erik J. Williams, Craig A. Williams of Conowingo, MD and J. Aaron Williams and James C. Williams III of Rising Sun, MD; nieces, Tammy L. Gilbert of Elkton, MD and Deborah A. Williams of Rising Sun, MD; and seven great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his three brothers; twin brother, Timothy Lee Williams, James C. Williams Jr. and Norwood “Buddy” L. Williams Sr. and his nephew, Norwood “Bugsy” L. Williams Jr.
A visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, 111 S. Queen Street, Rising Sun, MD. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 10, 2013 where friends may visit one hour prior. Burial will follow at West Nottingham Cemetery in Colora, MD.
