Tina Joan Perry-Myers, 48, of Quarryville, PA, passed away at home December 23, 2011 surrounded by her family.
Born in Havre de Grace, MD on April 23, 1963, Tina was the daughter of the late Blane William and Velva Charmaine Worrell Perry. She was a 1981 graduate of Rising Sun High School and a member of the Oxford Church of God. Tina was strong-willed, independent and a good person to have in your corner. She was a warm, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be deeply missed. Tina very much enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening, arts and crafts, and doing her own home improvements.
She is survived by her husband, James I. Myers, Jr. of Quarryville; two daughters, April Parker and her husband James of Rising Sun and Lindsey Lunsford and her fiance Manuel of Elkton; two stepchildren, James Myers, III and his wife Jennifer of North Carolina and Tanya McLeod and her husband Bryan of Illinois; and six grandchildren, Jordan McLeod, Alyssa and Kayla Myers, Launa and Kylie Parker and Sophia Magana. She also leaves behind two brothers, Timothy Blane Perry of Colora and Tommy Wayne Perry and his wife Sherry of Conowingo; and three sisters, Tammy Jean Pierce and her husband Richard of Rising Sun, Toni Jill Wilson and her husband C. Donald of Havre de Grace and Tonya Jane Meyrick and her husband Brian of Nottingham.
A service honoring her life will be held at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 111 S. Queen St., Rising Sun, MD 21911 on Wednesday January 4, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Friends and family may call at the funeral home beginning at 10:00. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery.
