Thomas William Sellar of Newark, DE, age 72, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2016. Thomas was born in Queens, NY on March 20, 1944 to the late James Alexander Sellar and Catherine Josephine (Zwick) Sellar.
Thomas enjoyed spending time reading a good book. He also loved cooking, traveling, and taking cruises throughout the world.
Thomas is survived by his two sons: Michael Sellar and his wife, Carol, and Richard Sellar and his wife, Teresa, five grandchildren: Kira, Shane, Jessica, Ian and Aidan, and two brothers: Robert and David Sellar.
Services for Thomas will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Calvary Baptist Church in Newark. Memorial contributions in Thomas’ honor may be made payable to “Calvary Baptist Church” and sent in care of the funeral home, R.T. Foard & Jones, 122 W. Main St., Newark, DE 19711.
