Thomas Jeffrey Schivane (Tom) of Chesapeake City, MD passed away on December 1, 2024. He was born in Elmira, NY to the late John Erwin Schivane and Margaret Branson Schivane.

Tom was a graduate of Sharon High School and attended Penn State University. In 1972 Tom married his high school sweetheart, Susanne Holt. In 1977 he started a screen printing and graphics company, Screening Room, which he grew and developed into a very successful company. He retired in 2019.

In addition to the devotion to his business, Tom enjoyed working on home projects, photography, socializing with friends and listening to music. He was an avid boater since 1983 and very much enjoyed cruising up and down the Chesapeake Bay with friends and family.

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his brother, Jack S. Schivane.

Tom is survived by his wife, Susanne Holt Schivane, two sister -in-laws, Barbara Schivane and Lynda Bollinger, his beloved nieces and nephews, Amanda Schivane, Caitlin (Schivane) Foga, Stephen Schivane, John Bollinger, Jr., and Jeffrey Bollinger, as well as his loving cats, Maggi-Sue and Casper-Boo.

A Celebration of Tom’s Life will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the R. T. Foard Funeral Home – 318 George Street, Chesapeake City, MD. The family will begin receiving friends at 10:00 AM. A reception will follow at the Chesapeake Inn.
