Theresa Faye Shivery-Wadkins, age 52, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 22, 2014 at her home in Chesapeake City, MD surrounded by her family and friends. She was born June 5, 1962 in Elkton, MD to the late Joseph Shivery and Inez (Forester) Shivery.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Charles “Chuck” Wadkins, mother Inez Shivery, sons Joseph Wadkins and fiancé Kelsea Jackson, and Brian Wadkins of Chesapeake City, MD; stepchildren Charles Funk and wife Lynn of Elkton, MD, and Stephanie Poorman and husband Scott of Chesapeake City, MD; 5 grandchildren, Julianna, Michael, Samantha, Skylar, and Devon; two brothers Ralph Shivery and Joe Shivery; and two sisters, Judy Bunch and Joyce Shivery.
In addition to her father Joseph Shivery, she is predeceased by her brother David “Earl” Shivery.
A service will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, PA, 318 George St., Chesapeake City, MD 21921. Family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service beginning at 10AM. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Chesapeake City, MD. To send condolences visit www.rtfoard.com.
