Sincerely sorry for the loss of 104 year old Thelma. What a great lady, loved by all who happened to meet her, whether caring for those she helped raise, and then their children she was loved by all who knew her. My privilege to have met her in Chesapeake City with Ginny, with Kip and often at the Post Office too! Rest well, good and faithful servant. Linda and James Dyekman, Chesapeake City

Aunt Thelma was outspoken but funny, especially when she and my Dad got together! She cared for lots of children and I'm sure they all have great stories to tell. Aunt Thelma loved to cook; her fried oysters are my favorite. She was like my second Mom and I cherish all the fun times we spent together! Tish

How do you say goodbye to someone who was so special? Not only was she my aunt, she was my friend and confidante. We shared some very special laughs and memories and I'm thankful for every precious moment. I won't say goodbye to my Aunt Thelma, I'll simply say, "see you on the other side and I'm bringing some sardines with me".
