Ta’Yonna Q. Russ, 22, of Elkton, MD, passed away unexpectedly May 3, 2015 at her home.
Born in Milford, DE on July 28, 1992, Ta’Yonna was the daughter of Timothy Hanzer and Tamekia Russ. She was a home healthcare provider. She loved taking care of her daughter Samia and will be missed by family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughter Samia Davis, her sisters, Ikea Russ, Nevaeh Hanzer, brothers George Anderson, Junayd Hanzer, Jafar Hanzer; grandparents Phyllis Russ, Edwin Jarman, Cornelia Nelson, Timothy Hanzer, Sr. and many aunts, uncles cousins, a nephew and friends.
A celebration of her life will be held at highway Holiness Church, 511 Edmund St., Aberdeen, MD 21001 on Tuesday May 12, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 East Main St., Elkton, MD 21921 Monday May 11 from 6 – 8:00 pm or one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial at Gilpin Manor Memorial Park will follow the service. Donations may be made to Ta’Yonna Russ & Derrick Smith Burial at gofundme.com.

I met u when u were a baby. You grew-up to be a beautiful young lady & the precious smile of yours was passed down to ur beautiful baby girl. She is truly gorgeous.
