We have fond memories of Sylvia and Harry! It seems like only yesterday they were still a couple living with Sherry in Maryland. The memories... Harry’s rebuilt Chrysler, Sylvia’ s extensive stash of ice cream, and the card games Sylvia would inevitably win are part of our fond memories of days now gone by. Your family was blessed to have such wonderful parents, and now they are together again! Love and sincere sympathy to you all.

Remembering Sylvia’s many kindnesses to me and my family. Always loved hearing her play the organ during church and her gift of music. May your memories offer you comfort at this time. Sending our deepest sympathy to you and the family, Linda and Mike Shunk & family

So much of my school age years were spent at church, and taking piano lessons. Mrs. Shriver taught me piano for the better part of 10 years (and a little organ as well), starting at age 5 - which I'm sure required a bit of patience early on! She encouraged me to play in church in those early years, which were my first "public performances". Little did I know at the time, I would go on to become a full time musician/composer/producer, which continues to this day. Needless to say, I'm certainly grateful for Sylvia starting me on that path, the encouragement along the way, and providing the building blocks that would lead to my life's vocation.

I am glad to have had the chance to be Mrs Sylvia’s nurse at Caraway Manor, she was a sweetheart she loved her ice cream especially chocolate!
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

So many memories….Mrs. Shriver was such a positive influence in my formative years. Much more than I think she ever knew. I’ve tried over the years to tell her and thank her but she never wanted to take credit —the world has lost a beautiful soul but her memory will live on in our hearts and through her children and their children. And that is what she was most proud of—as she should be! Celebrating a life well lived along with her loving husband. Wishing you all peace.
