Suzanne Irene Masitti, age 80 of Wilmington, DE passed away on March 23, 2021. She was born on February 9, 1941 in New York City, NY to the late Genevieve (Morales) Flanagan.
Suzanne lived in New Jersey for many years and was very involved and active in Jacksonville Chapel. Once she retired she settled in Sedona, AZ where she lived for a number of years before moving to Wilmington, DE to be closer to her grandchildren. Suzanne was quite a collector and had many dolls, wood carvings, and artwork. She enjoyed playing the piano and adored her dog, Amber.
Suzanne is survived by her sons: Theodore “Ted” Heider and his wife, Gerti, Robert “Bob” Heider and his wife, Ginger and William “Bill” Heider and his wife, Kristen; grandchildren: Christopher Heider and his wife, Beatrice, Timothy Heider and his wife, Abby, and Jennifer Heider.
In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas, Masitti; son, Christopher Heider, and sister, Carol Riggs.
Services for Suzanne will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to “American Stroke Association” and sent in care of R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 248, Rising Sun, MD 21911.
