I met Steven at dialysis. He saw a 55 Chevy on my t-shirt and we were automatic friends. I loved talking to him. One day we talked half way thru our treatment. Then I think we both fell asleep. Always a smile on his face, so kind and caring. I will truly miss him. So long my friend.

Uncle Steve, this is a tough one! There is not a holiday memory without you and Aunt Bonnie in it. Loved all the stories you use tell us about you and our dad working at ARA together. You use to explain how crazy our father was to us boys, but I think you were crazier than he was because you continuing to hang out with him. Lots of laughs, great funny moments…. the love for cars and anything cool. Greatly respect that, I’m kinda the same way. You will be truly missed. May you Rest In Peace lots love your nephew Justin

I learned a lot from Uncle Steve. From a very young age; a strong work ethic, being on time, do a job right the first time, take care of those who take care of you, and to always pay yourself first! These may be simple values, but something that was pounded into my head early. I hope to instill these same characteristics into my children early and often in hopes they have success in life, just like he (and myself) did! For these reasons, you will never be forgotten Uncle Steve!

Mr. Steve is one of the only family members I have that share interest in hot rods. From my teen years through my late 20’s we’d catch up once in a while and give each other updates on what we have and what we’re working on. Sometimes this leads Mr. Steve to a tangent about a product or a process. I always listened because one thing about Mr. Steve, is that he is always willing to teach if you listen. It’s times like these where you wish you can have one more conversation, even if it is about a subject so small, like which brand of detailer to use on my car’s paint. I will remember him for this because from the rare times we did see each other in the end, I’d have always learned something new.

I will always remember the conversations I had with Steve at Christmas Eve dinners. There were many of those. He was a very generous person and fun to talk with. This is quite a loss for his devoted family. My thoughts are with you all on this sad occasion. I really have no words but God bless all of you.
