Steven C Kline Sr. age 54 passed away November 2, 2011 surrounded by his loving family in Peoria, Illinois.
Steve was born December 9, 1956 in Cook County IL to the late Clyde and Virginia Kline. Steve attended the public school systems in the Chicago area. A very talented musician, he played many instruments, but the drums were his instrument of choice. Steve worked at his family restaurant ‘Huck Finn Donuts’ where he mastered the craft of baking.
He relocated to Delaware to help his family with their restaurant ‘A Family Affair’ in Claymont, DE. He also had his own business ‘Mom and Dad’s Bakery’ in Newark, DE. In later years, Steve became a truck driver working for PFG and then Foodliner where he was currently employed.
Steve leaves to cherish his memory a son, Steven C. Kline, Jr. and his wife, Courtney of Newark, DE; daughter, Stacy Kline of New Castle, DE; fianc�, Becky McCleary of Newark, DE; sister, Patricia Kline of Newark, DE; step-daughter, Jessica Till and her husband, Michael of Newark, DE; step-grandchildren, Adelynne, Garrett and John; and a brother, Dennis Gustafson.
A viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday November 8, 2011 at R.T.Foard and Jones, 122 W. Main St., Newark, De. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held on Wednesday November 9th at 11 a.m. also at R.T. Foard and Jones.
