Stella Kirkey, 84, of Elkton, MD passed away Saturday, January 17, 2015 at the Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Bedford, TX.
Born October 28, 1930, Stella was the daughter of the late Milton and Luanna (Thompson) Viars. Stella cherished her time spent with her wonderful family and she enjoyed making sure everyone in her family was well taken care of.
Stella is survived by her son, Larry Kellum of Watauga, TX; daughter, Sheree Silva and her husband, Mark of Newark, DE; son, Don Kellum of Chesapeake City, MD; sister, Eva Mae Turman of Elkton, MD; and ten grandchildren. Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sheila Eggers who passed away in 2004; one brother; and three sisters.
A service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 25, 2015 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 E. Main St., Elkton, MD 21921, where family and friends may visit beginning at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Brookview Cemetery in Rising Sun, MD
