

Sonia W. Everett of Elkton, MD, age 75, passed away Monday, May 29, 2017. She was born in Wilmington, DE on September 6, 1941 to the late Alexander T. Wavrinevich, Sr. and Tessie (Siemienski) Wavrinevich.
Sonia enjoyed cooking, fishing and hunting deer and water fowl. She especially loved working with her husband, Roger to breed and train hunting Labrador Retrievers.
Sonia is survived by her husband of 42 years, Roger W. Everett; sister-in-law, Gail Everett Reese of Downingtown, PA, sisters: Elizabeth Moore and her husband, Joseph of Avon, NC, and Helen Taylor of Elkton, MD. In addition to her parents, Sonia is preceded in death by her brother, Alexander T. Wavrinevich, Jr.
A funeral service will be held in Sonia’s honor at 11AM on Friday June 2, 2017 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, 318 George St., Chesapeake City, MD 21915. Family and friends may begin visiting at 10AM. Burial will follow at Old Bohemia Cemetery.
