Silvia Narcisi, 78, of Elkton, MD, passed away peacefully at Laurelwood Care Center September 13, 2013.
Born in Castellato Italy on May 18, 1935, Silvia was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Filomina Cardelli. She worked as a seamstress and tailor in Philadelphia and in New Jersey. She enjoyed taking care of her home, was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. an excellent cook and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband of 52 years, Philip Narcisi; a daughter Sylvia Cappuccio and her husband Christopher of Magnolia, NJ; two grandchildren, Teresa and Christina Cappuccio, also of Magnolia. She also leaves behind several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Adriano and Nicole Cardelli.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Jude Catholic Church, North East, MD On Friday September 20, 2013 at 12 noon with a visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Elkton.
