Shilda Newsome, 64, raised in Staten Island, NY sadly and suddenly left us on February 6, 2024. Shilda is survived by her 3 children Desiree Newsome, Equisha Pierre, and Alexander Newsome, and 2 grandchildren Ashton Newsome and Roman Pierre. She will be missed by her many siblings, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. A memorial service will be held in her beautiful honor at 11 am on Monday February 19, 2024, at First Central Baptist Church located at 117 Wright St. Staten Island, NY 10301. We invite anyone who knew Shilda to attend and wear all black with a pop of leopard (her favorite). The celebration of life will directly follow the memorial service.Sh
