


















































































































Sharon Elizabeth Taylor Battee, 62, of Elkton, MD, passed away January 5, 2013 at Union Hospital.
Born in Olean, NY on June 11, 1950, Sharon was the daughter of Beulah Ellen Taylor the late Glenn Merle Taylor. She was a homemaker who dedicated her life to her family; raising her three sons and was especially devoted to her five grandchildren. Sharon was an active member of Five Rivers Church and a talented poet. She will be dearly missed by her family and many friends.
She is survived by three sons, Michael Battee of Clayton; Brian Battee and his wife Rosalind of North East, MD and John Battee of Elkton, MD; five grandchildren, Jordan, Brian, Madison, Mary and John Battee. She also leaves behind two brothers, George and Terry Taylor and three sisters, Linda Murphy, Kathy Kist and Judy Sprout. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 35 years, Ralph Battee.
A service will be held at Five Rivers Church, 290 Whitehall Road, Elkton, MD 21921 on Friday January 11, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. Friends and family may call at the church beginning at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be private at a later date.
