Sean S. Jones, 43, of Elk Mills, MD, passed away March 27, 2014.
A lifelong resident of Cecil County, Sean was born on August 21, 1970, the son of Robert and Drinda Mitcham Jones. Following his high school graduation, he joined the I.B.EW. Local 313 and pursued a career as an electrician. He enjoyed the outdoors; hunting, camping, cycling with his children and niece. Sean was a devoted father and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife Tracy L. Jones; two children, Hunter and Madison (Maddie) Jones, stepchildren Brandon Windell and Brittany Lambert (LCpl Joshua Lambert), a brother Brett (Jamie), nieces Hailey, Leah, Kaitlyn and a nephew Tyler, five aunts Donya Mitcham, Frances Cox, Marie Baker, Patsy Younce and Brenda Parks, his mother in law Rita Gentry and extended family.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hunter and Maddie Jones Education Fund and mailed to R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 111 S. Queen St., Rising Sun, MD 21911. To send condolences visit www.rtfoard.com.
