Scott Warren McCloe, Sr., age 44, of Elkton, MD, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Season’s Hospice at Christiana Care in Newark, DE. He was born in Elkton, MD, on June 12, 1971 to Bertha Nino and the late Bernard McCloe.
A passionate sports fan, Scott followed many different teams in a variety of sports, but his all time favorite was the Pittsburgh Steelers. He introduced his sons to the team before they could walk, and they have become devoted followers as well. Scott and the boys even managed to take their dream trip to catch a game at Heinz Field, where they had the time of their lives. It was said by all who knew him that he was the “Best Dad in the World” to his sons, and was known to give and do anything for his family and friends.
He is survived by his sons, Scott W. McCloe, Jr., and Jacob Ryan McCloe, and their mother, Jody Kennedy, of Elkton, MD; an infant son, Matthew David McCloe; his mother, Bertha Nino, of Elkton, MD; brother, Kenneth Rice, Jr., and his wife, Cindy, of North East, MD; sister, Constance Reynolds, of Elkton, MD; half sister, Victoria McCloe, of New Jersey; numerous nieces and nephews, and his German Shepherd, Lambert.
A Life celebration Service will be held at 11AM on Monday, February 8, 2016 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 East Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921.
