Sarita Wright Lucas, 33, of Boston, MA, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Elkton, MD on September 21, 2014. She was excited and looking forward to the birth of her daughter Claire Lucas in December.
Born in Boston, MA on April 2, 1981, Sarita was the wife of Antonio Lucas, Jr of Bloomfield, CT and daughter of Wanda Geer of Boston. She worked as a Deputy Attorney General for the State of Delaware. Sarita received her Bachelors Degree from Barnard College and studied law and received her JD from Suffolk Law School. A loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, she was an avid fan of the Red Sox and Patriots.
In addition to husband and mother, she is survived by her father Amos Wright; her stepfather Walter Geer, Jr of Boston; a brother Richard Pina, Jr. of Boston, a sister Nida Wright of Boston; step-brothers Walter Geer, III of New York and Adam Geer of Philadelphia, PA; nephews Jaylen, Cameron and Caleb; a niece Zelda; her maternal grandmother Mary L. Reed; aunts Anita, Mary and Maryum and an uncle Kenneth.
Services for Sarita will be held this Saturday September 27, 2014. The viewing will begin at 10 am, with the service to follow at 11 am. The services will be held at:
