Wilmington, Delaware – It is with heavy hearts that the family of S. Louise Pierce announces her passing on Sunday August 22, 2021; she passed peacefully at home on her 93rd birthday to her heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She also is now re-united with her beloved husband Howard who recently passed away on March 10, 2021.
Louise was born on August 22, 1928 to the late Thomas Evan and Beatrice Crowl Webb Gill in Pennsylvania. Louise was born into the family of farming and had many chores that needed to be done daily. She was faithful and very dedicated to her family; proud Matriarch of 5 generations. She loved gardening and preserving vegetables and fruits and also tending to her flowers inside and out. She loved to cook and bake and you could always find her in the kitchen. She absolutely made the best cinnamon buns, dinner rolls and best ever rice pudding.

Louise loved reading to the grandchildren and also her great grandchildren too. Babysitting and playing games with them as well. Louise loved playing scrabble with her two sisters-in-law and brother-in-law.
Louise and Howard were blessed with 8 children, 20 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Her best times were spent with family. Louise is predeceased by her parents, her 3 brothers, Tommy, Wilmer and Donald, her 3 sisters, Betty Velma, Jean, and Gladys, 2 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and 1 great great grandchild.
