Sandra Webb Henderson, age 78 of Rising Sun, MD passed away peacefully on Monday, February 17, 2025, surrounded by her family. Born June 27, 1946, in West Chester, PA, Sandra was the daughter of the late Victor Curtis Webb, Sr. and the late Grace Virginia (Roark) Webb.

Sandra was not only a dedicated business owner but also a beloved member of her community. She owned the “Touch of Class” salon from 1985 to 2002, where she spent years making people feel beautiful and confident. Beyond her career, Sandra found joy in sewing, often creating beautiful pieces that reflected her artistic flair. Reading was another passion that transported her to different worlds. Sandra had a special fondness for nature, particularly birds, and she took delight in their songs and colors. The beauty of flowers, especially Iris and Lilac, brought her happiness, as did her favorite color, purple, and her love of iced tea -unsweetened only! Sandra cherished her monthly breakfast meet-ups with her high school friends, where laughter and camaraderie filled the air. She was also proud to be a member of the Red Hats Club, where she embraced the spirit of fun and friendship. Sandra was a source of support, understanding, and love, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Sandra is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, John Ralph Henderson; children: Tracey Farrow (Michael), and Bill Henderson (Cindy); grandchildren: Alexandra Farrow, Jack Henderson (Karleigh), and Ty Henderson; brother, Victor “Butch” Webb, Jr.; nieces: Susan Botts and Sharron Demucci.

In addition to her parents, Sandra is preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Thomas Henderson; sister-in-law, Jean Botts; and brother-in-law, Lane Botts; and nephew, Richard Botts.

A celebration of Sandra’s life will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 111 South Queen Street, Rising Sun, MD, where family and friends may begin visiting at 10:00 AM. A burial will be held privately.
