Hey love; This is your big brother. I'm just taking this moment to leave a memory in your favor. I remember the first time I've ever seen you. It was the first day meeting you and mom. You were such an adorable baby. I was excited to know I had a beautiful baby sister. I've turned my life around for you. I'm getting ready to graduate in may and I'm going to enlist into The U.S. Marine core soon after that. I dedicate my accomplishments not only to myself; but to you as well. I love you so so so so so so much Mi-Mi. rest in peace my sweet little angel. Your brother loves you.

My sweet little granddaughter Samiya was the precious innocent joy in my life. The first thing she would do when she saw me is smile and kiss me. The second thing she would do is go to my refrigerator and play with the magnets. I had letter magnets for her there and she loved spelling out her name and all sorts of things that only she knew what they meant (smiles). Samiya was a very deep thinker. I often watched her as she was taking in everyone and everything around her or when she was just playing by herself, just in her own little world...a very smart and perceptive child. I had dreams of her growing into a beautiful teenager and young woman and having a very close relationship with her. Yes I know she is in a better place and sometimes that is a comfort but other times the pain in my heart just wins the battle. I miss my sweet little samiya more then words can say. Samiya I Love You and will always and forever deeply miss you... Your Grandma (kisses)

Even though I never had the privilege of meeting my precious niece, Samiya, I do know that she was truly a blessing and a very sweet little girl. When I heard of her passing I was truly saddened. I pray that God blesses the entire family, especially those who were closest to her, with peace, comfort and understanding.

Samiya was such a beautiful little girl who brought a smile to to me every time I saw her. As her bus driver I would pick her up to go to school and she was always ready to come up and talk to me. I will keep your family in thoughts and prayers. Samiya will be greatly missed by so many people who's lives she touched.
