Ruth Ann Price, age 71, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2018. Born on February 15, 1947 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Aries Cox Cornett, Sr. and Theresa Lee (Barnes) Cornett.
Ruth was a very family-oriented woman, staying home to raise her child as well as caring for her mother. She loved listening to music, especially George Jones and Hank Williams, Jr. Ruth was also an avid collector of records.
Ruth is survived by her son, Johnnie Ray Price, Jr. and his girlfriend, Candi; six sisters: Charlotte, Gene “Pete”, Darlene, Jeanette, Sharon, and Sally; and brother, Vernon. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Roger and Ayres “Buddy”, and sister, Francis.
She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Services for Ruth will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
