Ruth Ann Johnson, age 92, of Elkton, Md. peacefully passed away on September 2, 2013 with her family at her side. Ruth was born and raised in Scottsburg, Indiana and was one of 10 children born to Albert and Lola Comer. She was predeceased by her son, Dr. Jay D. Hair and her husband, Wilbur “Bill” Johnson.

Ruth will be dearly missed by her children, son, Dwight Hair and his wife, Diane Hair; daughter, Paulette Pyle and her husband, Philip Pyle. She was also blessed with 6 Grandchildren; Richard Hair, Dawn Schwartz, Philip Pyle, Jr., Matthew Pyle, Whitney DeBellis, and Lindsay Hair. Also, 9 Great-Grandchildren; Christopher Hair, Jeffrey Hair, Brittany Schwartz, Michael Schwartz, Zoe Pyle, Knox Pyle, Magnus Pyle, Maiken Pyle and Ramsey DeBellis.

A Visitation for family and friends will be held at 10:00am on Sunday, September 22, 2013 at the R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 E. Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921, with a Service to follow starting at 11:00am. There will be a luncheon at the Fair Hill Inn, in Elkton, Md. following the service.
