Roseanne Mary Riale (Cifaldo) went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, December 1. She was 91. Born in Port Deposit, MD, she was the daughter of Angelo and Angelina (Ciarlo) Cifaldo.

Mrs. Riale retired after 25 years from the Perry Point VA Medical Center and continued working part-time for Balderston’s Colora Orchard packing apples and peaches. She was a member of the Community Fire Company of Rising Sun Ladies Auxiliary for 51 years and a member of the Rosebank United Methodist Church. She was an avid fan of the Baltimore Orioles and Philadelphia Eagles.

Mrs. Riale is survived by her children: Ronnie Jones, Katie DeWeese (Allen), Mae Sheetz, Darlene Davis (Denny), William Anderson (Becky), Patty Phillips (Dave), Buddy Riale (Tina), daughter-in-law Betty Jones; ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by five brothers, two sisters, husband Harry Riale, Jr., her son Jimmy Jones, and grandson Billy Jack Sheetz.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 from 6:00-8:00pm at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, 111 South Queen Street, Rising Sun, MD. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 11:30am where friends and family may begin visiting at 10:30am. Burial will follow at Brookview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made payable to “Community Fire Company of Rising Sun Ladies Auxiliary” or “Rosebank Methodist Church” and sent in care of R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.O. Box 248, Rising Sun, MD 21911.

To Roseann’s family I’m truly sorry for your loss, I was looking for another obituary when I saw this today. I remember growing up around her at my grandmother’s house and on the farm growing up.
