REBECCA TOMASEVICH left a message on February 14, 2022:
Ronnie, Brenda, Linda, Gretchen; words can't express how sorry I am for the passing of Ron. Linda Moore introduced me to him ,when I moved to Delaware in 1980, we became friends and that friendship lasted 42 years. No-one could have asked for a better friend, always available for advice on any subject, comfort when I needed it. He was one of a kind and will be missed by all who knew him ,especially me. Find comfort in that many people loved him and were grateful for knowing him.

Ronnie jr, and family so sorry to hear of your dads ( Mr Walkers ) passing , you have my deepest sympathy. I was just walking the James Hall trail last week and was think about you , and your dad living over off Kelly’s & Wollaston ave. And when we rode dirt bikes together , and also when I had a couple businesses in the 1990’s I to was a member in NCCC, during your dads tenure as president. He always had a big smile and looked crisp in a suit ! , and like others have mentioned also about your dad , he gave good , sound , rational advice when you asked him anything, I appreciate the times he helped me navigate some business situations back in those days . I’m sure his passing will be felt by many , on many levels . Again , so very sorry for your loss . Kyle

Uncle Ronnie .... You were one of a kind! Everytime I've seen you through out my life you always had a huge smile and it was contagious... I cherish the the memories of Thanksgiving at your house and your good cooking... And I'll forever remember and hold dear to my heart the conversation we shared the last time I was able to see you. I first met the Walkers when I worked at Sunnyside School on Wollaston Avenue in the mid-1960s after I graduated from Newark High School. Then years later I moved to Wollaston Avenue with my own family. I became friends with Ron and Anita, both really nice people, down to earth and fun to hang out with. The fact that we all graduated from Newark High School was always a source of interest to us. My kids became friends with theirs. I was deeply saddened when Anita died. I used to see Ron at Newark events, where he’d greet me with a big smile and that twinkle in his eyes. My sincere sympathies to Brenda, Linda, and Ronnie.
