Ronald “Ronnie” Alfred Love

Ronald “Ronnie” Alfred Love, age 85, of Port Deposit, MD, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 7, 2024. Born on September 13, 1939 in Elkton, MD, Ronnie was the son of the late Alfred Hopf Love and Lillian Alberta Love (Reed).

Ronnie was a very talented gentleman. He could do everything from building his own porch by hand to mechanical work to singing at Jane’s Church, where he was a member for many years. Ronnie retired as a water treatment operator. Some would say he was the jack of all trades. However, his main passion in life was his marriage to his wife, Clara. Ronnie and Clara shared a lifetime together in their 60 years of marriage until her passing in 2022. He will be missed by family and friends.

Ronnie is survived by his brother, Keith Love Sr.; nephew, Keith Love II, and long-time family friend, Jamie Brown. In addition to his parents, Ronnie is preceded by his loving wife, Clara Love.

Services for Ronnie will be help privately at the convenience of the family.
