Bob, You were such a wonderful man. It was a pleasure knowing you for so many years. I will always remember the talks we shared while working together at Perry Point. I'll be able to think back at some of those "stupid" jokes you would tell me, most of the time I didn't get them...you'd just shake your head at me and leave my office. You and Ellie were always so nice to me. I will miss my Christmas and Birthday cards from you, I know Ellie will still send them. Miss you Bob, hope God has taken a wonderful man from us.

Bob, I miss you so much, you were a really good friend. We had a lot of fun times together, and many a good laugh. Ellie, I want to say "Thank you" for always being with Bob and giving him the best care possible. The last week was very hard on you, but you were a trooper. We (Mom & I) loved playing Chicken Foot with you and Bob and that we will dearly miss. Bob, you are now in heaven, no more pain, no more suffering, just having a grand old time being in the arms of Jesus. I love you and will miss you more than words can say.

Bob this is so hard for me, I am missing you so much. I am happy that we had such good times together (24/7 days) And I did not mind taking care of you when you were sick, wish we had found out much earlier about your sickness but no matter God had plans and it was your time. I will be with you one day. Jacob and I were talking about all the Christmas Eve's you were with us and such good food, fun and laughter. We all enjoyed it. Enjoy your time up there and I just know you will be waiting for me with open arms. Sending all my love until I join you my sweetheart! Ellie

As time fades on through out life the memories will always stay with us reminding us about all we are thankful for and how we are here today. I've spent 13 amazing years of my life time under the guidance and love of an unforgettable, outstanding grandfather. I am so grateful for all the heart warming memories I have made with him and all the great things he has taught me. He was not only a truly amazing man but one of the most considerate and friendly people I have ever met. My Pop Pop has touched the lives of so many and it's is so nice to hear how much he has really done for his family, friends and his country. I'm thankful and I feel so blessed to have him as my grandfather. I am also thankful for him raising a great dad who has always been there for me. July 2, 2015 I visited my grandfather while he was in hospice along with my family. That was a very special day for me because the whole day he was very tired and slept quite a lot and didn't speak very much, but when I went to say "Goodbye Pop Pop, I love you" he finally said " I love you" back and kissed my forehead. That was the greatest thing to hear because I did not know how long he had left. So I felt greatly blessed that I got to hold him and hear his voice just one last time. Thank you to my family that helped he get through this tough loss and anyone who has help my Pop Pop. Last but not least, thank you Pop Pop, I love you so much more than you will ever know , and I know your with God free from suffering. Rest in peace. Love , Carolyn

Bob and I were married for 24 years during which time he gave me 2 wonderful sons who over the years with our love and guidance turned in to 2 wonderful caring men. You taught them so many things that only a father could teach. I will cherish thefun and memories we all made during our time together, trips to Niagara Falls, Redwoods in California and trips to the mountains. Our sons and I will always remember. Rest easy. You are at peace with God now.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Psalm 23:4 “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” I miss you dearly pop pop, who along with my dad, taught me how to crab as just a little girl. Crabbing is now my favorite hobby and you'll always be in my fondest memories everytime I go. You are no longer suffering and now we are all here to be strong for you. I love you always. Love, Your "pretty girl"

We are sending prayers during this difficult time. Hold the special memories close to your heart and Bob will never be far away. Thank you, Mr. Bob, for your kindness over the years. You always had a good story to tell us and sweets for the kiddos. I hope that heaven has all the crabs you can eat and an endless supply of sweet treats for you. May you rest in peace.

Bob, you will be missed by our family, we will miss your smile, your stories and your sense of humor! We enjoyed the time and fun we shared with you & Ellie but we know you are no longer suffering! We watched as Ellie took care of you and saw the love you had for one another and what you told us on our last visit to see you and we knew you were in good hands; but now you are walking with our Lord and Savior and watching over Ellie.

I didn't know you, but you loved and took care of my aunt so that's means you are family to me. I know you were loved and will be missed.

Bob and I were together 22 years. After we retired from the Veterans Administration, Bob obtained his commercial crabbers license and we spent many wonderful years crabbing. Most times we sold the crabs and occasionally Bob would steam the crabs himself and invite many friends to enjoy them with us. Bob loved to cook and prepared many wonderful meals for the two of us as well as friends. Bob was a people person and enjoyed long conversations with friends. I will miss him but I am happy that he is no longer suffering, he has gone to be with Jesus. God speed!

I have known Bobby since I was a young girl. He was best friends with my parents George and Ruth Dever. They both adored him. He was always a joy to be around. We enjoyed eating crabs and swimming when we were younger. Ellie, Mom always looked forward to your visits and enjoyed visiting you and Bobby. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. Ruthie Dever Young

I met Bob two years ago at his son John's house on Thanksgiving. He had some great stories. He has left his family and friends with wonderful memories to help them through their grief. As God has called him home, his pain and suffering has ended. Go in peace Bob. You have fought a courageous battle. Love, Debbie Reeves
