Robert “Mike” Michael Conway Jr.

Robert Michael (Mike) Conway, Jr. went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ early Saturday morning, November 4, 2023, at home with his wife, Nancy Keithley Conway, of sixty years by his side.

Mike graduated from Elkton High School in 1963 where he enjoyed playing football and baseball. He was an avid hunter and fisher. He was employed by H&B Plumbing as a HVAC installer. He looked forward to playing Canasta with his family, and attended church where he was saved in 1993.

Robert Michael (Mike) Conway, Jr. of Elkton, MD. Born December 12, 1943 to Robert M. Conway, Sr. and E. Louise Stoops Conway, passed away at the age of 79.

Mike is survived by his wife of 60 years, Nancy Keithley Conway; three children: Denise Grapes (Mike), Donna VanDyke (Tim), and Janice Porcelli; seven grandchildren: Benjamin Grapes, David VanDyke (Katie), Jonathan VanDyke (Kira), Joshua Porcelli, Andrew VanDyke (Christina), Emma Porcelli, and Joseph Grapes; great-grandson: Aidan VanDyke; five siblings: Nancy Onizuk, George Conway, Patrick Conway, Judy Nunley, and Terri Lopiano; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mike is preceded in death by his great-grandson, Lucas VanDyke.

Services will be held privately. The family would like to give a special thank you to Accent Care (Hospice) during his final days.
