Robert J. Bradley, age 68, of Elkton, MD, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023. He was born at Clark Air Base in the Philippines on January 2, 1955 to Victoria A. Bradley and the late James H. Bradley.
Robert grew up in Delaware and was a graduate of Christiana High School. He earned his undergraduate and master’s degree from University of Delaware. Robert worked for 34 years at Delaware Technical Community College where he was the Assistant Dean of Instruction. He enjoyed retirement since June 2012.
Robert enjoyed Disney trips, spending time with his grandchildren, and boating. He could often be found outdoors maintaining the family property, taking his grandchildren to feed the horses and other animals, and taking them for ranger rides every evening. He had two black labs, Decoy and Coal, that he adored.
Robert is survived by his wife of 34 years, Jennifer Hammond Bradley of Elkton, MD; daughter, Taylor A. Akers and her husband, Jeremy of Elkton, MD; son, R. Harrison Bradley and his wife, Stephanie of Elkton, MD; mother, Victoria A. Bradley; three brothers: David Bradley of Bear, DE, James Bradley of Bear, DE, and Mark Bradley, of Bear, DE; and five grandchildren: Camille Akers, Carolina Akers, Colt Akers, Madison Bradley, and Jack Bradley.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:30PM on Sunday, January 29, 2023, at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, 111 South Queen Street, Rising Sun, MD, 21911 where family and friends may begin visiting at 12:00PM. Burial will follow at Mount Aviat Cemetery, Childs, MD 21916.
