Robert “Mack” Henry MacDougall

Robert (Mack) Henry MacDougall age 78 of Conowingo, MD, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 28, 2022, with his family by his side. He was born on July 23, 1944, in Philadelphia, PA to the late Henry Hudson MacDougall and Dolores Irene (Ramsey) MacDougall.

Robert was a proud US Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War. After high school, Robert worked as a laborer for various employers. Most recently, Robert worked for many years at Intelco, in New Jersey as a countertop installer and customer service representative. He was a long-time resident of New Jersey living most of his adult life in Brigantine, NJ. He loved the ocean and enjoyed the beaches in South Jersey year-round. Robert spent several years living on a houseboat. He loved to go four wheeling on the beaches, paragliding, and paddle boarding. He was always drawn to the ocean. Robert was a loyal fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Phillies.

Robert is survived by his sisters: Marilyn Leonard (John) and Phyllis Clark (Herb); nephews: Kenny Morgan and Tim Morgan; niece, Ida Gaskill.

In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his sister, Janice Gaskill (Clint).

Services for Robert will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.

I miss you Bobby. Sorry to see you leave us so soon. We had great times in our summers at Collings Lakes. To Marilyn, Phyllis and your families, it was a difficult situation taking care of Bobby’s needs but he now he rests in peace and you can take comfort in knowing you did your best to help him through difficult times.
