Robert Gibson Banks, age 52, of Perryville, MD passed away on December 29, 2012 at his home with his family surrounding him. Bob was born in Painesville, Ohio on November 28, 1960 to late Robert Forrest Banks & Jewel M. Banks.
Bob enjoyed his Harley Davidson motorcycle and his Peterbilt Truck. He was an amazing dad, husband and family man. He was the #1 Pittsburg Steelers Fan.
He is survived by his wife, Kimberly D. Sheets-Banks of Perryville, MD; daughters, Fawn Hanby of Pilot Mountain, NC and Nina Banks of North East, MD; sons, Bryan Sheets of Perryville, MD, Travis Sheets of Colora, MD and Jacob Sheets of Perryville, MD; sisters, Donna Frankenstein of Harmony, PA, Karen Sheets of Colora, MD and Vicki Richards of Rising Sun, MD; grandchildren, Jeffrey Renninger Jr., Jesus Jackson, Tiara Jackson, Raelee Sheets and Mariah Demark; nieces, Marlena, Crystal and Jade; nephew, Ronnie.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Lewis Banks who passed in 2011.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 5, 2013 between 2-5 pm at The Minker Banquet Hall, 920 Principio Furnace Road, Perryville, MD 21903. Harley Shirts and Steelers gear welcomed. A Memorial Run for Bob to be announced.

Bob was one of the very first people I met in May of 1982 when I came to Cecil County. Bob and I have so much history between us that I wouldn't know where to begin. Bob was a very kindhearted man, the kindest I had ever met, and would do anything for anyone no questions asked and never expected any type of pay back. Bob, along with my first husband Bobby, was a Co-Owner in Sun Auto Care until the business closed. Bob loved his family, his motorcycle and his new Peterbult, courtesy of Todd Collette. Bob was the # 1 Steelers fan and enjoyed the game very much especially when he and his little brother Ron attended a Steelers game together. I know that Bob is going to be missed by many people.....WE ALL LOVE YOU BOB FROM THE DEEPEST PART OF OUR HEARTS. MAY YOU WATCH OVER US UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN.
