I am very saddened to learn of Bob's passing, especially since I am just learning of this today. We worked together at Hilltop Ranch back in the mid 80's. I will remember him as a very hard working young man, with a Rising Sun High wrestlers determination that was always wrapped in a big 'ol genuine loving smile.

Many fond memories of wrestling on the RSHS team with Bobby. We were about the same weight but he was a lot better than me so I would lose weight to be in a different class. He was always so much fun. I moved away so have missed seeing him since high school. My thoughts & prayers to the family.

I'm writing this on my journey back to md to lay you to rest. I usually am excited and look forward to this trip. But not today..Because I know I won't hear your voice or be able to tell you any new jokes I've heard. This all happened unexpectedly..I take comfort knowing it wasn't expected to you either. You put up a good fight but now it's time to rest and be with the other fighters in our family.i love you so very much.i will miss you everyday of my life. Untill I see you again Big B!

Bob was so special. Funny, Smart and caring. He has wrestled with many physical elements in his life time. Always making a come back. Our Lord God has given him rest now. He is in a better place now. Prayers to his family and friends. This is not the end, but a beginning for him to be in the house of our Lord.

Kim Reed left a message on March 29, 2017:
God saw he was getting tired,
And a cure was not to be,
So he put his arms around him,
And whispered "Come with me",
With tearful eyes we watched him suffer,
And saw him fade away,
Although we love him dearly,
We could not make him stay,
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands to rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best,
Although his heart stopped beating,
His love will always remain,
His absence puts upon our hearts,
A very heavy strain,
For now he is in a place of everlasting rest,
We just have to understand that God,
He only takes the best.

My heart has a huge whole since your gone. I'm speechless and at a loss for words on how devestating this is for me and our whole family. What I wouldn't give to just talk to you one more time. I can't believe this is real.
Adriana Brown left a message on March 29, 2017:
The to entire Cecil Family, I can't begin to tell you deeply sorry I am to hear of Bobby's passing. I know how hard it is to watch a sibling suffer for so long s then to have to say good-bye. We know Bob and Tracy are in a better place, but it doesn't stop our hearts from hurting. Lillian, I can only imagine the hurt your feeling. I wish it was a pain you would have never had to feel, and I wish there was something I could do to ease that pain. Bobby and Jena, there are no words. You and your children carry on the legacy and memory of you sweet and funny father. Bobby will be so missed by so many. He always had a smile and a very kind heart. All of you are in my heart and my prayers. I pray the Lord will comfort and sustain you through the difficult times ahead.
