Robert A. White, 48, of Elkton, passed away suddenly on Monday, March 25, 2013. He died unexpectedly, and always claimed he’d have the shelf life of a Twinkie. Of course, coincidentally, Twinkies are also gone these days. Robert was born September 23, 1964 in Providence, Rhode Island to parents Thomas and the late Adelle White.Continue Reading

Bobby......I know you hated being called that but we liked to aggravate each other just like you calling me Debbie LOL....... You are a great person and always had a positive outlook on life. I worked with you twice @ Bayshore and when I was going through some messed up crazy times in life you were a true friend that helped me stay positive. I will never forget that smile :) Even if you were having a difficult day you still managed to have your game face on. May God Bless your family & give them the guidance the truly need. Until we meet again my friend may you rest in peace.

Bob - I feel as though I had known you forever and that you were family in many ways. You always had a smile and such a great way about you. I had hoped we could get together after Annette and Ryan's wedding, and it was great seeing you there....but.... Godspeed to you my friend. You are surely in a great place at this time. Greg Palumbo

To the family of Bob, I am so sad to hear the loss of a wonderful young man "Bob". He was loved by all his Rhode Island friends. I saw Bob grow up. I was so proud of knowing he was my son Steven Lopez best friend. Bob had lovely parent's. His mom was a beautiful lady. He had two very nice brother's Steven, Tom and a very cute sister Kathy. I will keep Bob and his family in my prayers. May your soul rest in peace Bob. God Bless his lovely daughter's and his Dad. Love Dolores Lopezx

As long as I have know Lauren, I have known Bob to be a fantastic father who truely cared about people. there was a time when my ex boyfriend and his mom were stuck in Wilmington when they popped their tires, and Bob saw them on the side of the road and helped them before he even knew who he was. He truely was a great person, and now he's a great angel. I know he'll be watching over his daughters because a father as great as him would want to make sure his daughters were doing well even now. I'm praying that God is with Lauren Crystal and Heather in this time. God bless you girls. Rest in peace Bob.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Bob McCone left a message on March 29, 2013:
Though I only knew him for about 10 years as a customer at Bayshore, I got to know Bob quite well through many conversations and laughs we shared while I was having my truck serviced. He was a fun-loving guy who made a great impression on me and there will truly be a void when I go to Bayshore in the future. My sincerest condolences to the White family. Bob was a terrific guy and I know that he will be sorely missed. Bob McCone NBC10 WCAU-TV Philadelphia, PA

Dear Family, Though you will no doubt hear what I am about to say many times from many sources my memory of Bob is simple and profound. Bob White was one of the most genuine and kind people that I have ever had the honor to call friend. He was a true gentleman and called others to be better persons simply by his quiet example. I pray for the repose of Bob's soul and look forward to that wonderful day when he and all the faithful will be joined together in God's company. Let not your hearts be troubled. All Blessings in Christ Jesus, Mark Taylor Grant Elkton H.S. Class of 1982

Dear Crystal and family, I am deeply sorry for your sudden loss of Mr. White. He has always been very kind and generous to me, and I feel like it was just couple days ago when I was watching the Rocky with him in a sofa. You and your family will be in my thoughts. Sincerely, Soon.

Dear Angela, Heather, Lauren and Crystal, I am so sorry for your loss. I was surprised to hear that such a fiesty guy could be cut down so soon in his short life. I enjoyed the times I spent with Bob at softball games and loved that he was so at ease in his conversations. My family sends you their sympathies. With love from the Sutcliffe family
The Bradford Family left a message on March 29, 2013:
I'll always remember him as "Bobby" from his days at Palumbo's with Ty. I knew if I took my business to him, wherever he was working, I would get honest answers. He was that type of guy, always up front and very personable. He spoke about all his girls with pride and love and he will be missed by us all. Our thoughts are with you, Sandi, Katie and Jillian Bradford
