Robert “Bob” Allen Franklin age 74 of Conowingo, MD, passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2023. He was born on February 2, 1948, in Jonas Ridge, NC to the late William Bowe Franklin and Pansy Townsend Franklin.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Norma “Lynn” Franklin; daughters: Samantha, Rhonda, and Hope; grandchildren: Tiffany and Zachary; step daughter, Robin Fox; step grandchildren: Taylor Fox and Tyler Fox; great granddaughter, Kaylee Fox; sister, Dorothy Franklin; brother, James Franklin; nephew, Robert Sipes; nieces: Pat Reid and Linda Allman.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Joe Franklin and Bill Franklin; sisters: Redina Hasel Franklin and Elizabeth Franklin Smith.

A celebration of Bob’s life will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023 at 12:00 PM at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, 111 South Queen Street, Rising Sun, MD 21911 where family and friends may begin visiting at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at West Nottingham Cemetery, Colora, MD.
