Robert “Bob” Allen Cain

Robert “Bob” Allen Cain of Elkton, MD, age 68, passed away Thursday, September 9, 2021.

Bob was passionate about his career in stone and brick work and looked up to his boss and friend Barry. He took great pleasure in making buildings beautiful with his masonry. Bob like to travel for day trips or for the weekend, taking walks with his friend Bob, and going fishing when he could. He loved to spend time with family, especially during the holidays. Bob found his greatest joy in playing with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Bob is survived by his wife of 26 years, Charlotte Cain; three step-children: Karen Kula (Jay), Eric Matthew and Virginia Smith (Jason); 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and five siblings: William Cain, Linda Williams, Lillian Cain, Gary Cain and Eddie Cain. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his sister, Ginny.

Services for Bob will be held at a later date.

I knew Bob for about 20 years. Bob was a friend of my family and myself. Bob was out looking at a job for me just a few weeks before he passed. Bob was a great guy. Bob built and repaired numerous buildings, etc for us over the past 20 years. Bob was a master at his craft. Aside from being a master at his craft, Bob was an honest and fair man. I rarely asked Bob how much a job would cost up front...I let him tell me after...he was that honest and fair. In talking with Bob over the years, his love for his wife was abundantly evident. Bob would always talk about his wife during our conversations. We will sorely miss him.

Rest in Peace Brother Bob , you did amazing work that will last many lifetimes . Love your sister ❤️❤️
