Rickelle Ciara Crawford (38) of Joppa, MD, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2023. She was born on March 9, 1985, in Philadelphia, PA, and was the cherished daughter of Adrienne Carmela Tate (nee, Hightower) and Richard Arcelous Crawford.
Rickelle’s journey was marked by diverse talents and a passion for creativity. She pursued her dreams relentlessly, achieving an Associate Degree in Film and Television Production from Temple University. Gifted with versatility, Rickelle excelled as a Television and Film Producer, contributing her artistic vision to the industry. As an entrepreneur at heart, she founded Walkk Dreams Productions, a platform that showcased her remarkable talents. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Rickelle found joy in songwriting and the artistry of designing elegant formal gowns. She majored in Fashion Design at Carver High School – where she mastered the art and trade.
Her personality was gentle but yet a vibrant beacon in any room she entered. Rickelle’s tender nature and infectious presence had the power to influence those around her and bring humor in even her quiet and sometimes bashful persona. Anchored by her unwavering faith, she grew up in the New Psalmist Baptist Church, where her spirituality flourished. However, above all, Rickelle’s deepest devotion was to her mother and family. Her profound love and bond with them will remain etched in their hearts forever.
Rickelle is survived by her mother, Adrienne C. Tate, her father, Richard A. Crawford, her grandmother, Emily Crawford-Lybrand, her grandmother, Laressa Tate, her step-father, Frederick Tate, her Aunt & Uncle, Wanda & Jesse Jones, Uncle Mike Hightower, Uncle Paul Hightower, Uncle Keith Crawford, and a huge number of other uncles, aunts, cousins, friends and church family.
A Celebration of Rickelle’s Life will take place on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at 11:00AM at R. T. Foard Funeral Home, located at 111 South Queen Street, Rising Sun, MD, 21911.
