In loving memory of Richard Martin Stauffer, 56, of Rising Sun, MD passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024 peacefully at his home after fighting a short battle of illness. He was born in Baltimore, MD on September 10, 1967. Richard was the loving son of his mother, Sherry (Funkhouser) Black and step-son, of Lacy Black.
Richard worked in the Maintenance department at a local Auto Motive business. He had many local friends and would do anything for anyone.
Richard is survived by his mother, Sherry Black; step-father, Lacy Black; sister, Tina Miller; niece, Tammy Stauffer; and several other nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Services will be held private at the convenience of the family.
